WASHINGTON, D.C. - When asked by Jake Tapper of CNN to explain the pointy white hat with mask he was wearing during an interview with the network, Donald Trump, Republican front-runner in the race for the White House, maintained that he didn't know what Tapper was talking about.

"Well just so you understand, I don't know anything about the Ku Klux Klan hat I'm currently wearing, OK?" Trump told Tapper, his voice slightly muffled from behind the cloth mask. "I don't know anything about what you're even talking about, with me donning the archetypal regalia of racist, murderous, domestic terrorists, complete with hood and mask covering my entire head and face except for my eyes, the most renowned piece of the KKK costume commonly known as the 'glory suit' among Klansmen"

"So, I don't know, I don't even know what's going on," he continued. "I know nothing about the headgear obscuring everything above my shoulders right now. And, so, when you're asking me a question that I'm supposed to be talking about a Ku Klux Klan hat that I know nothing about."

"You wouldn't want me to condemn a hat that I know nothing about," Trump added. "I'd have to look."

When pressed by Tapper, who noted that if Trump would just touch his head or face with his hands, he would immediately feel that he was indeed wearing the traditional head-covering of the savage, heinous organization, Trump would not budge.

"I don't know anything, honestly, I don't know anything about this hat. I know nothing about it."

"And please do not ever mention my hands again," he added.
