JERUSALEM — According to palace sources, an egregious sin committed by King David and Bathsheba was exposed to the public after they were caught on a kiss cam at a Levite concert.
The pair was reportedly unaware that they had been found out until confronted with memes put together by Nathan the prophet.
Nathan reportedly first confronted David about the incident by telling the king a story about a CEO caught having an adulterous affair with his HR director. After David remarked that the man must surely die, Nathan pounced, "You are the man!"
"You were making kissy faces!" he accused.
The king reportedly recoiled immediately in horror, having realized that he had been caught in his iniquity.
"I have sinned against the Lord," David said, going on to express his amazement that someone had invented something called a Jumbotron and learned to harness the power of electricity without his knowledge. "But a kiss cam? So delightful! Perhaps we could institute a dance cam, too. What fun that would be!"
At publishing time, David had been forgiven by the Lord, but as a consequence of his sin, he would be forced to endure memes about it for the rest of his days.
