INGLEWOOD, CA - Snoop Dogg was embarrassed by a wardrobe malfunction on Sunday when several bags of weed fell out of his costume during the Super Bowl LVI halftime show.
"The NFL has always prided itself on our wholesome, family-friendly halftime shows," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. "The embarrassing mishap during this year's halftime show is inexcusable and does not reflect the values of the NFL. We are truly sorry."
"This is not who I am," said Snoop, who sources say reeked of reefer. "Now everyone knows I'm a pothead. That's not cool with me. D.A.R.E. to resist drugs and violence, kids. Fo' sho'."
The moment occurred when Snoop Dogg was performing "Smoke Weed Everyday" opposite Dr. Dre. Seven bags of the "Sinister Minister" plummeted to the floor when the 50-year-old singer/songwriter jumped around like a maniac for five minutes straight.
"I was horrified," said Ricky Suede, a father of three who saved all year to take his kids to the Super Bowl. "I never would have expected such indecency of The Dogg Mann. Sad!"
At publishing time, Snoop Dogg's wardrobe malfunction has ranked as one of the top Super Bowl blunders, beating out Janet Jackson's accidental exposure, and that time New Kids On The Block performed for some reason.
