SCRANTON, PA — A group of friends received a detailed critique of popular south-of-the-border cuisine recently from a Pennsylvania man who was apparently under the impression that he had eaten actual Mexican food before.

Jameson O'Leary helpfully informed his companions that there was nothing special about Mexican food, clearly with the misguided belief that he had experienced real Mexican cuisine at some point in his life.

"I like Mexican food," said the poor, ignorant fool. "It's nothing special, though. It's just blandly spiced ground beef, chicken, pork, or steak with cheese and chopped vegetables on a flour tortilla. The only thing that changes from one dish to another is how it's placed in the tortilla and what type of meat it is. I would definitely know, because I live in Pennsylvania."

O'Leary's friend, who was born and raised in Southern California, expressed bewilderment that such a conclusion could be drawn. "Anyone who has had real Mexican food knows what the hype is all about," said San Diego-area native Kevin Mason. "He seems ot be operating under the mistaken idea that he's eaten Mexican food before. But… I mean… he's from Pennsylvania. So, yeah. Not sure where that perceived knowledge comes from."

At publishing time, his friends reported that O'Leary had once again defended his strong belief that Imagine Dragons was arguably the greatest rock band of all time.

The USA undeniably trumps our neighbors to the north.
