MIDDLETOWN, OH - After idly flipping through the channels and stumbling across the closing segment of a rerun of hit HGTV show Fixer Upper, local woman Jessica Partin immediately got out a sledgehammer and destroyed every single wall in her house.
Partin reportedly figured she would just do "a few quick renovations" after catching the last few minutes of one of Chip and Joanna Gaines' famous remodels, only to realize an hour later she had broken down every wall in the house.
"In hindsight, yes, I might have jumped the gun a tad," she told her husband when he returned home to find the entire place demolished. "I was just gonna expand the kitchen, open it up a little, add a nook, and put in some recessed lights. I admit I got a touch carried away."
"Don't worry about it - I'll just watch another few episodes, and they'll give me the inspiration and know-how I need to get everything renovated. This will be our beautiful, forever home," she said.
She also asked her husband if she felt like the "open concept" first floor in the newly demolished home had better "flow" than it did before.
At publishing time, Partin had discovered Pinterest.
