WASHINGTON, D.C. - Building on their newfound respect and appreciation for one another, President Trump and hip-hop artist Kanye West just released a cover version of "A Whole New World" from Disney's Aladdin Thursday.

The song instantly received widespread critical acclaim, with fans praising West's creative take on Aladdin's parts and Trump's "surprisingly authentic" performance of Jasmine's solos.

"A whole new woooooooorld!" Trump belts out partway through the song, "absolutely nailing" the part, to which West responds, "Don't you dare close your eyes!" in a pitch-perfect imitation of the original.

"We had a great time in the studio - the best!" Trump told reporters. "Much better than the original. Sad - those losers should resign!"

Kanye tweeted "I am this generation's Aladdin" shortly after the song's release.

A music video is reportedly forthcoming after rabid fan demand.
