WASHINGTON, D.C. - Settling years of Christian debate, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg confirmed in an interview Tuesday that the earth was created in a literal six days about 6,000 years ago.
Ginsburg claimed she witnessed the whole act of creation and could confirm that the earth was made in a literal week just a few thousand years before the birth of Christ, just as was recorded in Genesis 1.
"The earth was formless and void and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters, just like it says in the Bible," she said. "Then He started speaking, and stuff just started appearing out of nowhere. It was pretty incredible." She claims the whole of creation was completed in just six days, and on the seventh day, the Lord rested.
At publishing time, she had confirmed the flood in Genesis 6 was a literal, worldwide catastrophe, and not a localized event as some have claimed.
