SACRAMENTO, CA — Ahead of the midterms, Governor Gavin Newsom once again touted California as the only state where you can see a homeless man defecating on a beach and on a mountain in the same day.
Newsom appeared alongside Rep. Nancy Pelosi at a campaign event on Monday to remind Californians of the beautiful opportunity they have to see the bums empty their bowels on a beach and on a mountain in the same day.
"We are the only state in America where you can see the unhoused defecating in public at the beach and on a mountain on the same day," Newsom said. "If you want to keep that magic alive, then you'd better vote blue in November."
The governor went on to warn that Trump would surely enforce laws against public defecation and indecent exposure if Republicans gained a supermajority in Congress.
"Trump doesn't care what makes California special; he only cares about himself and whether or not he has to see someone poo," Newsom said. "He literally doesn't care if this poor homeless man, Roger Malachi, needs to go to the bathroom and doesn't know how to use a toilet. We have something so beautiful here in California, and Trump is going to ruin it."
"Trump is so racist," he added.
At publishing time, California's Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton had decided to stop running ads and just let Gavin Newsom do all the talking for him.
