LOS ANGELES, CA - In a surprise appearance on a special one-off episode of Dancing with the Stars Sunday evening, featured duo John MacArthur and Ben Shapiro dazzled audiences with a hit dance routine.

While MacArthur's performance was characterized as "wooden" and "stiff," Shapiro more than made up for his partner's lack of grace, rattling off dance moves even faster than he talks. The pair performed to an upbeat dance medley that included portions of "A Mighty Fortress is our God," "God Bless the U.S.A.," and "If I Were A Rich Man."

"And here it is... the triple backflip... nailed it!" called out a stunned announcer as Shapiro soared from a balcony as a visibly uncomfortable MacArthur clapped offbeat and mumbled something about just wanting to preach through the book of Romans. Shapiro spun deftly around the stage, arms outstretched, knocking over dozens of backup dancers dressed up as liberals. "And that's how you own the libs! Tremendous!" yelled a commentator.

In a thrilling climax, Shapiro dashed across the stage and leaped into MacArthur's arms as the pastor and author lifted him high into the air, a clear homage to Dirty Dancing.

"Phenomenal! We've never seen a performance like this before!" said one judge after the show. "Johnny Mac's hilarious dramatic portrayal of a reluctant dancer was the perfect foil for Shapiro's energetic, rapid-fire moves."

At publishing time, the pair had signed on for The Amazing Race.
