WASHINGTON, D.C. - Press Secretary Katie Zacharia dressed up in an adorable lawyer costume for a Halloween party this weekend.
Complete with a cute little briefcase, Zacharia went around the party saying fun legal terms like "Another drink, your honor" and "I object!"
"Aw, I love your costume! That's so hilarious!" said friend Amy Heathrow. "You even put little papers in your briefcase! What do they say? Lawyer stuff? Oh my gosh, you really thought of everything."
Friends were particularly impressed by the elaborate backstory Zacharia had developed for her character, right down to naming a law school and describing specific classes she had taken.
"Oh my gosh, she is so funny," said another friend, Rachel Marr. "Can you imagine Katie as a lawyer? This is why Halloween is the best, it allows you to live out some outrageous fantasy. The outfit really is precious."
At publishing time, friends had told Zacharia that she may be taking the pretend lawyer thing a little too far and maybe it was time for her to go home and sleep it off.
