Chiefs Accused Of Rigging Games By Playing Better Than The Other Teams

KANSAS CITY, MO — Continuing a season-long trend following Sunday's AFC Championship Game, the Kansas City Chiefs were accused of rigging games by playing better than the other teams.

The latest claims arose after the Buffalo Bills were on the receiving end of a questionable spot following a fourth-down play, which left them with only the lead, 13 minutes left in the game, and multiple opportunities to either stop the Chiefs from scoring or score more points themselves. The failure of the Bills to overcome the questionable call and outplay the Chiefs was cited as yet further evidence that Kansas City has been rigging games all year by playing better than their opponents.

"I don't know how much longer they can keep getting away with this," said Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen, whose team failed on two unnecessary two-point conversion attempts during the game, thereby forfeiting easy PATs. "Eventually, the league is going to have to do something to make it so the Chiefs don't play better than everyone else. I mean, come on, what are we supposed to do? Play better defense, score more points, and not drop passes in critical situations? Whatever."

Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott attempted to address the controversy. "I think it's pretty obvious to everyone what's going on in these games," he said. "The Chiefs have obviously spent years hiring better coaches, drafting and signing better players, practicing every offseason, and outplaying their opponents. That shouldn't be allowed in our sport. It's not right."

At publishing time, Philadelphia Eagles fans confirmed that they were already deep into pre-emptively coming up with ways to blame the referees if the Chiefs won the Super Bowl.
