U.S. - Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aimé confirmed in a Nintendo Direct presentation at E3 that upcoming Nintendo Switch game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would feature every single fighter from all previous Smash Bros. games.

But perhaps best of all, the game will include prosperity gospel preacher Benny Hinn as a playable character, the game's new trailer revealed in a surprise last-minute cameo.

"Famed charlatan Benny Hinn is ready to enter the fray with his suit jacket punch and money tornado attack!" Fils-Aimé said excitedly. "And players cornered by other fighters can shield themselves with Hinn's new 'Touch Not The Anointed' shield!" Footage then displayed Hinn dashing around a reworked Hyrule Castle stage, knocking over Mr. Game & Watch, Bowser Jr., and Young Link with his powerful jacket swipe.

"My spirit is ready!" Fils-Aimé added, as the internet lit up with hype over the new fighter.

The trailer also revealed his special finishing move, the Holy Ghost Machine Gun.

In an interview with Fils-Aimé after the Direct presentation, the NOA president revealed that the development team wasn't sure if they should include such an obviously evil and deceitful man as a playable character in a family-friendly Nintendo game. But since the developers had already included villains like Ganondorf, Bowser, and Wario, they ultimately decided that Hinn would fit right in.

"Get ready to fleece your friends with Benny Hinn on December 7, 2018!" Fils-Aimé said.
