GARDEN OF EDEN — Having gotten into a game of hide-and-seek with the omniscient God of the universe, Adam and Eve reported feeling confident that the Lord would never find them in their perfect hiding spot behind a tree.
"Totally camouflaged," said an optimistic Adam, crouching low. "These fig leaves blend in perfectly. Good luck, God!"
Sources say the game was quite tense, having begun immediately after Adam and Eve brought sin into the world and condemned the entire human race to a broken relationship with its Creator. "I'm starting to think we may have really screwed up," whispered Eve to Adam. "Boy am I glad we found this hiding spot. It would be really, really bad if word got out about our ruining paradise."
Despite Adam and Eve's excellent choice of hiding place, Almighty God still brought the game to a quick close. "I'd say it was a good try, but I'm literally all-knowing," said the Lord. "Definitely going to have Moses record this for posterity."
Before being banished from Eden, Adam reportedly asked God for a do-over, claiming God had not counted to twenty before beginning to seek.
