U.S. — According to sources, DC Talk founder and 2004 Dove Award-winning solo artist Toby Mac is still out there, just kinda doing his thing.
"Woah, that guy? I haven't heard that name in a while. He's still at it, huh?" said 38-year-old evangelical father of four Ryan Simmons upon hearing the news. "He's still making music? Woah. Respect, I guess."
Industry insiders confirmed that the artist behind the 2001 song "Extreme Days," which was featured in the Christian smash-hit teen x-treme sports movie Extreme Days, as well as the hit song "The Slam," which was featured on Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 4, is still out there making new music, performing for live audiences, and just kinda plugging away still. When reached for comment, several bystanders responded by saying things like "Woah," and "Huh. That's neat."
Eyewitnesses say several music videos have been released in the last few months, confirming that Toby Mac is still doing his thing. The videos also confirmed he now has a beard and wears one of those weird Hillsong hats, making him look all different now and stuff. "Would you look at that," said a middle-aged DC Talk fan. "Toby Mac looks different."
Upon hearing Toby Mac was still at it, several fans expressed the sentiment that he would probably never top his iconic "marmalade jelly" rap from 1995's "Jesus Freak," but it was cool to hear he was still doing stuff.
At publishing time, fans had been unsurprised to learn that Kevin Max was still doing his thing in a van at a national park.
