CHARLOTTE, NC - After a recent conversion to the Eastern Orthodox faith, "Bible Answer Man" Hank Hanegraaff has rebranded himself and his radio program as "Apostolic Tradition Man," he announced on a Friday broadcast.

"Our desire is to equip you to reason from the traditions passed down over centuries to find the answers for your life," Hanegraaff said in the introduction to his show. "We must all be Bereans, examining the historical teachings of the church through the years to see whether or not a particular doctrine is true."

"I'm really glad we have such a wealth of material to sift through - so much simpler than when I used to go right to the Bible," he added.

As several listeners called into the program throughout the broadcast, Hanegraaff could be heard rustling through ancient tomes and scrolls containing the teachings of various Orthodox church fathers spread across his desk to find the right answers to the various questions posed to him, sources confirmed.
