As Spirit Airlines prepares to permanently close its doors, it's time to take a look at some alternative means of travel.
Here are a few better options to consider if your scheduled trip with Spirit has been canceled:

Tie a bunch of balloons to your house: Up, up, and away.
One of those e-bike things the kids are riding these days: There's only a slight chance of a fiery explosion — just like Spirit Airlines.
Walk up to an ICE agent and tell them you're in the country illegally: You'll receive a free trip to an exciting and exotic location.
