WASHINGTON, D.C. - Elizabeth Warren has come under scrutiny for not revealing the hard facts about her medicare for all plan.
But today, she finally unveiled her plan: paying for medical care for everyone in the nation with the power of love and friendship.
"Many people have asked how I'm going to pay for my $52 trillion plan," she said in a speech Friday. "Here's how we're going to do it: with love, friendship, rainbows, and glitter."
"By the power of loving one another, we can overcome hardship and also mathematical impossibilities."
One reporter grilled Warren on her plan: "This seems far-fetched. How are you actually going to get this to work?" the journalist asked.
Tearing up, Warren replied, "Love. Dreams. Imagination. Believe in yourself. You can do anything. Friendship is the key. Vote Warren!"
The journalist quickly apologized for asking the question and asked if she could take a selfie with Warren.
