PLEASANT GROVE, UT - Essential oils giant doTERRA announced on Tuesday their plan to donate 1 million vials of life-saving essential oils to the nation's ongoing battle against the deadly Coronavirus.
"Today we join our fellow totally legitimate health care companies in doing our part to fight this terrible pandemic," said doTERRA CEO David Stirling during a press conference. "Since none of our products are subjected to tedious and time-consuming FDA testing, we can quickly get these healing oils into the hands of the consumer- er, patients."
The corporation plans to donate 1 million vials of its new proprietary blend Covidia™, made from bamboo root, fur of bat, and lavender. Stirling announced that the blend is also available at the company's website for the drastically reduced price of $79.99 per 10mL bottle.
"If our efforts help just one person," Stirling continued, "it will all be worth it. And if that one person is me, what's wrong with that?" he added.
At publishing time, health experts across the nation recommended practicing extreme social distancing from local doTERRA sales representatives.
