U.S. — The new report released this week indicated that your wife's love language had been confirmed to be sending you Instagram reels every day that you don't watch.
Researchers concluded that the daily waves of Instagram content you are inundated with are a strong sign that your wife is expressing her deep love for you, despite the fact that you ignore the reels she sends.
"This is how I feel cherished and cared for," Heather Stidwell said. "When I send Instagram reels to Rob that he will never watch, I am showing him that I love him in the best way I know how."
Her husband, Rob, confirmed that he has yet to watch any of the 6,749 reels his wife had sent in the last three days. "I've never responded to a single one, but I know she likes to send them and it's part of how she feels appreciated, just knowing that they're out there," he said. "I get dozens of links to cooking videos, funny parenting videos, videos about current events, people falling down, and who knows what else. I wouldn't know, since I don't watch them."
Other husbands admitted that they never watch any of the reels or links sent to them by their wives, but that they at least try to write a conciliatory "lol" occasionally, so she feels loved.
"Whatever helps my wife feel loved," Jeremy Tyler said. "It turns out we're a perfect match, because my love language is not watching Instagram reels people send me."
At publishing time, a follow-up study had confirmed that husbands' love language was talking to their wives about Batman while they pretend to listen.
