WASHINGTON, D.C. - After inadvertently linking to a satirical article on Clickhole in a piece earlier this morning, the Washington Post was forced to admit that "the vast majority" of the information it puts out comes from a single source: The Babylon Bee.
The Post confirmed that every morning, the publication's journalists and editors visit babylonbee.com and peruse the day's stories, in order to have the most comprehensive understanding of the news.
"We were using The Onion and Clickhole for a while, but then we found that The Babylon Bee is today's most accurate source of news," a Post source told reporters. "When it's on the Bee, we don't even fact-check it, because we know we're getting 100% reliable information."
"Thanks, Babylon Bee!" she added.
She further stated that the Post's hard-hitting journalists really appreciate the lengths that The Babylon Bee goes to in order to investigate breaking stories on Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn, local church news, politics, theology, and worldviews. "Frankly, I'm not even sure what we're still around for with The Bee covering all the bases now."
