WASHINGTON, D.C. - According to sources close to Vice President Mike Pence, the second-in-command was seen idly doodling "President Mike Pence" in various scripts in the margins of his afternoon intelligence briefing Friday.

He reportedly wrote the phrase several times throughout the margins of the important briefing document to see how it looked in cursive and print.

"President Mike Pence. I like the sound of that," he was heard muttering as President Trump began a long rant about the mainstream media. "Now introducing… President… Mike… Pence!" he continued whispering, before quietly imitating the sound of a crowd breaking out into wild cheers and fanfare.

At publishing time, Pence was spotted sitting in the Oval Office chair.
