WASHINGTON, D.C. — In another win for technical competence, Elon Musk put his technocrat skills to good use when Trump recently summoned him to the Oval Office to help him open a PDF.
Sources say that Trump struggled to open the PDF on his own for over 20 minutes before calling Musk for help.
"Elon, I have a big, beautiful PDF that I need to open right now," Trump reportedly told Musk. "In fact, it's so big and beautiful that I can't open it. It's very strange, very worrisome. It's an odd PDF — everyone else on my staff says so, too. Do you think you can come over and take a crack at it?"
On arriving at the Oval Office, Musk displayed his technical wizardry by opening the PDF within seconds.
"You have to double-click on the document icon, not right-click it, Mr. President," Musk told Trump. "And Microsoft Paint also doesn't open PDFs."
Trump reportedly thanked Musk before noting that this sort of thing is exactly why he brought Musk into his administration.
At publishing time, Trump had called Elon back into the Oval Office to help him escape from full-screen mode on a video.
