RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — Local man Jim Crest leaned his back against the wall and marveled at the second fridge in his garage, realizing for the first time that he had finally made it in life.
"So this is what success feels like," Crest said. "I wish my dad was here to see my second fridge. He'd be so proud."
After buying a new fridge for the kitchen, Crest opted to move the older model into his garage so they could have another fridge just for drinks — a dream he'd had since he was a kid. A dream, indeed, of all Americans.
"I had a friend with a second fridge, and it was like visiting a mansion," he said. "I mean, his house was the same size as mine, but they had two fridges. They never ran out of soda. Never."
In addition to being able to store extra drinks in the garage, Crest's wife reportedly became more attracted to him. "I didn't know how much we needed a second fridge until we got one," Carol Moore said. "But now I'll never be able to live without it."

"I have finally arrived," Crest said, speaking existentially of his own life.
