KANSAS CITY, MO — As his relationship with the global music superstar continued to progress, rumors circulated that Travis Kelce wondered if it was too late to ask Taylor Swift if she's the one who sang that song "Wrecking Ball".

With the world at large waiting with bated breath to see if Kelce will pop the question any time soon, a new tabloid report suggests the question he really wants to ask is whether Swift was the artist who performed the iconic anthem that he had spent many a shower belting out.

"Do you think she'll get mad?" Kelce was overheard asking teammate Patrick Mahomes while at a local nightclub. "I thought she was, but now I'm not so sure. The curiosity is killing me. I don't know. If she did sing ‘Wrecking Ball,' she'll be mad that I didn't know it already. If she didn't sing it, she'll be hurt that my favorite song is by someone else. Ugh, man. I'm the problem here - it's me."

The romance between the football star and the pop culture icon captivated audiences last fall, culminating with Kelce winning the Super Bowl and celebrating on the field with Swift, leaving many to wonder if there may be wedding bells in the pair's future. "They're so great together," said one insider who is close with the couple. "The one potential roadblock in their relationship is the fact that he's never listened to her music. He doesn't know 'Me!' from 'Party In The U.S.A.'"

At publishing time, Kelce was reportedly working up the courage to ask Swift if she would sing her hit song "Single Ladies" at their wedding reception if they got married.
