PROVO, UT — A mob of local Mormon teenagers engaging in the popular internet trend of staging a "takeover" reportedly left three new houses built for the homeless in its wake.

The teens were seen swarming public spaces and engaging in general public politeness before constructing houses for the homeless and fleeing the scene.

"It was the most wholesome mob I've ever seen," witness Jared Smith told police. "The teens came out of nowhere and completely took over this public park, singing hymns, helping ladies with their babies, handing out copies of the Book of Mormon, before heading over across the tracks and building some pretty sturdy houses for homeless people. It could have gotten way out of hand. But it never really did."

Bystanders say the flock of Mormon teens numbered around 30 or 40 and seemed to be well-organized. Other such viral events around the country have seen teens tearing apart public property and causing general mayhem. The Mormon version, according to witnesses, was much more heartwarming.

"We could use a few more of those Mormon flash mobs," Smith continued. "It could work wonders for the community. They're just so darn nice."

At publishing time, a city spokesperson expressed fear that the next Mormon teen takeover could result in massive amounts of litter being picked up around town and nearby parks being immaculately landscaped.
