EGYPT — Despite his success in interpreting previous dreams regarding an upcoming famine in the land, sources say Joseph is unsure about what to tell Pharaoh about his dream where he's standing in front of everyone in his underwear and they're laughing at him.

"Yeah, I'm not real sure what to do with that one, boss," Joseph said. "The one with the skinny, sick cows coming out of the river and devouring the fat, healthy cows was pretty easy. But everyone in the country pointing and laughing at you while you give a royal decree in your skivvies? That's a head-scratcher!"

Pharaoh had reported being continually vexed by the new recurring dream in which he was appearing before all of his subjects to announce a new project to build yet another enormous statue of a human body with an animal's head. His dream kept ending, however, with the sudden realization that he was only wearing underwear and everyone was making fun of him. "I don't wear a lot of clothes, anyway," Pharaoh said. "Sometimes, on hot days, I just wear my crown and a linen skirt, but in the dream, it's only my underskirt, which is so much more revealing!"

At publishing time, Joseph was deep in prayer asking the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to at least give him a hint as to the meaning of the dream so Pharaoh would stop bothering him, at least until Pharaoh had another dream where his work friends and church friends bizarrely appeared in the same place.
