COLLEGE STATION, TX — Google Maps users across the nation are reporting that the popular navigation app has just added a helpful new feature: a special "Traveling With Kids" option which will automatically schedule stops at every single restroom along a given route. The option has been greeted with rave reviews from parents of large families across the nation, most of whom laud it as "the best thing since the Baby Björn."
"Let's just face reality," said Becky Daniels, a mother of eight. "This is what a family road trip really looks like. My husband and I are always scanning the road signs on long trips, just hoping that another rest area will pop up before one of the little ones in the back goes kaput, but this takes a load off of my mind."
"It makes family road trips a little longer for us now, but not by much," agreed Lucas, Becky's husband. "We were already stopping at most of the bathrooms along the route, but this helps us make absolutely sure that we can hit every single one. Every. Single. One."
At publishing time, Google Maps had fleshed out the "Traveling With Kids" feature by adding the option to stop at every Chick-Fil-A along the way as well.
