TUSCON, AZ — Local wife Audrey Miller would like the good ice from the gas station to go with her water, you know, the little pebble ice?
"Honey, can you get the good ice? You might need to go to a few different gas stations but I know there's a Chevron nearby that has it," Miller instructed her husband. "You know what I like, right? The little pebble ice like they have in the hospital."
Miller's husband Dave set out to find the good ice and knew he better not come back empty-handed. He finally found the small, marble-size ice chips to add to his wife's drink at a local Sinclair gas station.
"I know what she likes," Mr. Miller said. "I don't honestly know what this ice does to her drink that regular ice doesn't do but there's something magic in these little pebbles so on the hunt I go."
At publishing time, Mr. Miller was out the door again after his wife asked him to get her "something good that I'll like, maybe cookies but I don't know I don't wanna get fat just surprise me."
