ORLANDO, FL — Sources close to the Thompson family recently confirmed that Lisa Thompson has, in fact, borrowed her husband Henry's wireless earbuds "just for a moment" to listen to a true crime podcast because she's just misplaced hers and she's still looking for them.

According to sources close to the household, Lisa promised Henry to be very careful with his earbuds, whereupon her husband showed Christlike, sacrificial love and let her borrow his carefully guarded headphones.

As this article goes to press, Lisa has just come in to return the earbuds and…wait a minute…hold on — it appears that a new update has just come in.

In a shocking new development to this story, sources say that Lisa has in fact lost the earbuds she borrowed from Henry and the pair are now in the process of desperately searching the house, both cars, and in between the cushions on the couch.

Unexpectedly, Lisa appears to have completely lost her ability to recall where exactly she set down either set of earbuds, despite Henry repeatedly trying to help her retrace her steps throughout the day. Tensions seem to be running high right now — it definitely can't get any worse — and OH NO THE TODDLER JUST STARTED PUTTING SOMETHING IN HIS MOUTH AGAIN AND IT LOOKS LIKE EARBUDS!

At publishing time, it turned out that the child had just been getting into the raw macaroni in the pantry again. Both sets of earbuds were later confirmed by sonar detection to be buried deep in the depths of Lisa's purse, right next to her lip gloss and car keys that she lost last week.
