What a culture finds appealing in the opposite sex can evolve over time. So we polled 100 different women to see what they considered the most attractive quality in a man — and the answer may surprise you.
Without fail, each woman polled said the most attractive thing a man can do is paint tiny Warhammer figures.
"Age of Sigmar or 40k, it's all good," one of the polled women noted. "I'm not picky."
"There's nothing better than seeing soft hands skillfully painting an Ork," said another. "That's Ork with a 'K'."
According to our research, women love seeing men paint tiny Warhammer figures for a variety of reasons. For some, they just like seeing men passionate about something. For others, seeing a man preparing a battalion of Space Marines for battle against the Tyranid Hive Mind awakens within them something best described as animalistic.
"If he can defend the galaxy against the Shadow in the Warp, he can protect me from anything," a polling participant said. "Hubba hubba!"
Of note, however, is that some of those polled found painting Warhammer figures appealing not because of the subject's lore or the artistic ability involved, but because of its close association to actor Henry Cavill, himself a fan of Warhammer 40k.
"I had no idea my husband was so attractive until I saw Henry Cavill painting Warhammer figures," said one woman. "Now it's all I crave. Painting the miniatures, I mean. Not Henry Cavill [nervous laughter]."
