OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — In an attempt to somehow garner even more foul calls, the Oklahoma City Thunder have replaced star player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with a wacky flailing inflatable tube man.

The inflatable tube man, who reportedly comes out of "Bud's Used Car Dealership" of Oklahoma City, was inserted into the starting lineup for the Thunder's playoff game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The tube man made an immediate impact, collapsing to the hardwood after experiencing slight air resistance. Referees responded by ejecting three opposing players and awarding Oklahoma City 11 free throws.

"Okay, this is getting ridiculous," said Lakers coach JJ Redick as the flailing tube man scored another foul call. "He didn't draw contact, that's just what inflatable tube men do. They flail!"

Reddick was immediately ejected for arguing with the referees, and was reportedly taunted by the smiling tube man on the way out.

"Sure, tube man's jump shot isn't quite SGA-level, but he's got it where it counts," said Thunder coach Mark Daigneault. "He's dominant out there tonight. That neon-red beauty is well on his way to an All-Star bid."

At publishing time, the tube man had gone zero for seventy-two from the free throw line, with every single member of the opposing team fouled out.
