EDINA, MN — In one of the most beautiful natural phenomena known to mankind, some objects left on the stairs began their weeks-long migration to the bedroom this week.
According to experts on hat migration, the items began the drawn-out process of migrating a few days ago when their owner, Jeremy Fischer, picked them up from the living room floor and put them on the stairs as a little reminder to eventually take them up the stairs.
The assortment of stuff faces a perilous journey filled with setbacks and difficulties, including being picked up and thrown into a laundry basket by one of Fischer's kids during clean-up time.
Experts say the migration could take anywhere between 2 days and 6 years.
Over the course of the long migration, the things will slowly make their way to their home in Fischer's room via the hallway, Fischer's bookcase, and one of his kids, who will move them around several more times before putting them on the stairs again.
At publishing time, the items had been picked up and carried up the stairs by Fischer's wife and placed in his closet. Sources confirmed the journey took a total of 372 days.
