NASHVILLE, TN — Conservative commentator Matt Walsh savagely lambasted director Christopher Nolan for his abject failure to cast any actual Greek demigods in The Odyssey.
Walsh went on to trash the entire film as "woke garbage", mocking Nolan for attempting to pass off Hollywood actors as part human, part divine warriors.
"The whole thing is absurd DEI nonsense. Instead of casting actual Greek warriors and demigods, Nolan just used actors," said Walsh. "It's total trash. The entire movie, you are literally just watching a bunch of people pretending to be mythical Greek legends. They dress up in costumes to try to fool you, as if I can't see that's just Matt Damon. I mean, Nolan cast a guy with two eyes as Cyclops, for goodness' sake. It's a total embarrassment."
According to witnesses at the movie theater, Walsh became progressively angrier throughout the movie's showing, and was openly shouting at the screen by the halfway point. "Hoo-boy, he was mad. He kept it under control for a bit, but by an hour in he was shouting 'YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT'S THE GODDESS ATHENA? WE ALL KNOW THAT'S ZENDAYA!'" said local woman Katie Faxon. "Every new character that showed up, he would yell 'DIVERSITY HIRE!' at the screen."
At publishing time, an angry Walsh had lampooned the new Muppets movie after discovering that Kermit was not even a real frog.
