Matt Chandler Inadvertently Signals Aircraft To Land During Sermon

FLOWER MOUND, TX - Matt Chandler, teaching pastor at The Village Church, clearly expounded the fifteenth chapter of First Corinthians, making a compelling case for the necessity and historicity of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, while simultaneously signalling a small aircraft to land in the church's parking lot during Sunday service at the church, sources confirmed.

According to the FAA investigators currently looking into the incident, the plane, a Piper PA-32, was flying a recreational route over Flower Mound when the pilot spotted Chandler's vigorous, animated hand and arm movements through a church window. Assuming Chandler to be a skilled aircraft marshaller, the pilot carefully followed the variety of arm motions as the pastor expounded Jesus' victory over death, and managed to safely land his plane in the church's overflow parking lot.

The FAA has not charged anyone in the incident, according to sources.
