I know there are Bible verses that say it's bad to be "unequally yoked" with a non-believer --- but what if she is really hot?
I firmly believe that a shared faith in Christ is the foundation of any marriage. I also firmly believe that the girl I have a date with tomorrow is super hot. She's not a Christian, though I must offer the caveat that she's very attractive. What should I do?
To be honest, I'm like a "6" on my best day. I think that's a fair assessment. On the other hand, this secular young lady I could date is so dang pretty. Is there some kind of caveat when a pretty mediocre-looking guy somehow gets the chance to go out with a hot girl?
It would be one thing if this was, like, a normal opportunity for me. Trust me -- it is not.
My faith in Jesus is very central to my life. I think dating can be fun, but should also be purposeful, as a part of discerning the decision of marriage. I also think that Julie is really hot. So, what should I do?
Pray for me to find wisdom and guidance for this difficult decision.
