AMARILLO, TX — After local man Jeremy Long got home from work a little early on Thursday he was greeted by a wife wearing pajamas, forcing him to consider whether or not she was "already" in pajamas or "still" in pajamas.
"This is going to drive me crazy," Long reportedly said at the time. "Has she done nothing all day or is she just tuning the world out early? I'm not sure which is worse."
Long left for work at approximately 7 AM with his wife still wearing pajamas, he claimed. But when he got home early at 4 PM, she was still wearing them, or just wearing them again. He wasn't sure.
"I guess it's not a big deal, but it's like a riddle without an answer," Long confided in a friend via text message. "It's not like I can just ask her. That's ridiculous."
According to sources, most husbands go through a period where they're unsure if their wives have been hanging around the house in pajamas all day or just happened to get dressed for bed early. The phenomenon is worsened for husbands whose wives wear long flowing dresses and night gowns, two clothing items that look very similar.
At publishing time, Long's wife, Crystal, reported being confused as to whether or not her husband had been wearing the same shirt all week.
