RALEIGH, NC - According to sources, a local motivational speaker is still confusedly referring to himself as a "pastor," despite refusing to proclaim the gospel as elders and evangelists in the New Testament are called to do.
The sharply dressed, well-groomed man gets up in front of thousands of people each Sunday morning and merely encourages them to declare victory over their lives, seize their dreams, and follow their hearts, and yet somehow still thinks he is some kind of Christian minister or reverend, sources confirmed.
"It's obvious he's completely delusional," one psychology expert told reporters. "He's apparently constructed his own little fantasy world in which positive, encouraging messages without ever declaring man's sinfulness and need for a Savior somehow fulfill the New Testament call to the ministry of the gospel."
"It's quite fascinating," she added.
