COSTA MESA, CA — A local Christian man was confident that he was likely the cause of periodical resounding celebrations in Heaven, as he proudly fulfilled the Great Commission by occasionally wearing novelty Christian T-shirts in public.

While he admitted that it wasn't easy, Aaron Hargrave said he was more than willing to do his part to obey Christ's command to preach the Gospel to all nations by wearing T-shirts with clever knock-offs of popular consumer brands and slogans.

"I'm just being a faithful witness," Hargrave said while donning a Snickers-themed shirt that said "Hungry? Grab a SCRIPTURE." "It's a clear command from our Lord to tell others the good news. Even though it's hard work to basically live on mission at all times, I'm willing to take up my cross daily and fulfill the Great Commission by wearing these super hilarious T-shirts out in public. I mean, a T-shirt that looks like the logo for Subway, but instead it says ‘His Way?' That's what the Great Commission is all about."

Though he had never actually explained the Gospel to anyone in his life, Hargrave was sure that he had gotten the point across. "Everyone can see my shirts," he said. "Nobody can see an orange T-shirt with what initially looks like the Reese's peanut butter cup logo on it, but it actually says ‘Jesus King of Kings' on it and not understand their own depravity and need for a savior."

At publishing time, Hargrave had also expressed certainty that signing off all of his emails with "God Bless" was sure to have made a huge impact on eternity.
