NEW YORK, NY — LGBTQ+ has just gotten a little more inclusive with the addition of an "S" for "Sibling."
Officials with the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) announced guidelines to add the letter "S" to the popular LGBTQ acronym, noting a rise in sibling love they say is worth celebrating.
"With one of our nation's congresswomen being outed for marrying her brother, it's high time we recognize the beautiful subset of our community that embraces sibling love," said GLAAD spokesperson Amby Feelmoore (she/they). "There's nothing wrong with it and the extra 'S' in "LGBTQ' proves it."
According to GLAAD, people have been loving their brothers and sisters for years. "There's Luke and Leia, Jamie and Cersei, it goes back decades," said GLAAD CEO Sarah Ellis. "I know those aren't real people, but I can't think of any flattering examples in the real world."
Some in the movement, however, are not pleased with incest being recognized as equal to homosexuality, trans rights, or whatever queer is. They argue celebrating incest is going to make the rest of them look bad. "Agree with sibling love or not, this is just bad optics," said professional gay Ian McKellan. "Plus, it's weird and gives me the ick."
Democrats, once an unflinching ally to the LGBTQ cause, have turned squeamish following the announcement. "Ew, gross," said AOC. "Who would do that? Nasty."
At publishing time, Donnie and Marie Osmond had joined the LGBTQS+ movement.
Tucker Carlson is just asking questions about World War 2. Why was it even fought? Was Hitler really such a bad guy? And why did Churchill never denounce the trans agenda?
