DAYTON, OH — Local man Troy Greer announced that after a long, intense round of negotiations with his wife, he had emerged victorious and had successfully negotiated her down to getting absolutely everything she wanted.
Citing the shrewd negotiations between the Trump administration and Iranian officials, Greer was pleased that he had sealed the deal to cave on nearly everything his wife had demanded.
"I learned a lot from President Trump and watching how he handles negotiations," Greer stated. "So I stood my ground. I beat her in every argument with logic and reason. When I finally wore her down, I then conceded to absolutely everything that she wanted."
The initial conflict was over plans for a home renovation. "I just dealt blow after blow to her argument," Greer explained. "I even had a spreadsheet to show how her plans did not fit the budget. I rendered her completely speechless." Greer then shuddered, remembering his wife's expression when she was speechless. "So it was a complete and decisive victory," Greer continued. "All that was needed was an end to the conflict, which was accomplished with total capitulation. On my part, of course."
At publishing time, Greer said he now had in hand an agreement for a ceasefire on spending after the home renovation, which he expected to hold for as long as several days.
