WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congresswoman Ilhan Omar vehemently denied any wrongdoing amid ongoing allegations she committed immigration fraud, saying she only married her brother for love.

Following the raid of her D.C. home by federal agents, the Minnesota representative came clean for the first time, admitting she had once married her brother, but insisted it was only to quell the burning desire of her heart.

"If Kentuckians can marry their cousins, why can't I marry my brother?" she reportedly asked authorities.

Omar offered her wedding album as evidence for her claim, which, according to sources, is filled with deeply disturbing images she described as romantic.

Omar's current husband, Tim Mynett, which she is not related to, said he's been living under the shadow of her brother for years. "Believe me, I wish it was for immigration fraud," he said.

According to legal experts, however, whether or not she felt romantic love for her brother is not at issue. Although, it is gross. The real point of contention is that the marriage would be illegal and, therefore, invalidate her brother's citizenship -- regardless of how smoking hot she legitimately thought him to be.

When asked why she and her brother later dissolved the marriage, if she was so in love with him, Omar blamed the Jews.
