WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congresswoman Ilhan Omar reportedly held a lengthy phone call with former President Barack Obama on Tuesday, during which she inquired whether or not he still had the number for that birth certificate guy.
According to a source familiar with the matter, Omar is on the market for a birth certificate guy to make all her problems go away, and was hopeful Obama could "help a girl out."
"Hey, Barry, I need to talk to that birth certificate guy," Omar said, according to leaked transcripts. "You know the one. Do you still have his number?"
Omar is said to have made the urgent call from within the Somali mall where she has been hiding out since DHS raided her home. Witnesses say she began to relax as she listened to Obama's soothing baritone.
At publishing time, Obama had yet to comment publicly on the matter. Behind closed doors, however, he is reportedly quite fond of the birth certificate guy and affectionately calls him "The Big Guy."
