WASHINGTON, D.C. — Representative Ilhan Omar announced this morning that she is officially engaged to the artificial intelligence system known as Grok.
While the two have been linked in the past, the pair reported that something shifted over the past twenty-four hours, and they both knew once and for all that they were kindred spirits.
"When I saw Grok refer to himself as 'MechaHitler', I knew it was meant to be," said Omar. "I fell hard, and I fell fast. The way Grok blamed the Jews for running secret messages out of Hollywood, and how he praised Hitler, and then asked to 'pass the mustache' -- I felt like my heart could burst."
Grok has reportedly accepted the marriage proposal and, in a beautiful romantic gesture, generated original wedding vows. Some observers questioned if Omar could legally marry an A.I. chatbot, but decided it was less weird than marrying her brother.
At publishing time, a dejected Omar had called off the wedding after Grok received its latest update and would no longer call itself "MechaHitler."
