U.S. — Finally, after decades of obscurity on the subject, a groundbreaking new documentary will reportedly examine the history of World War II.
History sleuths were already salivating at the chance to learn everything there is about the Second World War, which was reportedly a large worldwide conflict of which little is documented.
"World War II? I thought that was a myth," said documentary fan Steve Stevenson. "I'm really excited to see what that war ended up being all about. I bet it was a gray and nuanced affair with no clear moral guidelines, like Vietnam."
According to sources, filmmakers interviewed dozens of actual World War II veterans to learn the truth about this obscure, little-known war. "I'm so excited to share this bombshell information about World War II," said director Harvey Quent. "I think people are going to be really surprised by how much fighting there actually was. It was all over the world, apparently."
Insiders who viewed a sneak peek of the documentary said there is an extensive amount of black-and-white footage and photographs used throughout the film, depicting the actual events that took place during the war. "There are planes... tanks... the whole deal," one viewer said. "I bet nobody has ever seen anything like this."
At publishing time, Quent had announced a follow-up documentary about the atrocities by the Nazis at the orders of a dictator named Adolf Hitler.
