PROVO, UT — Entrepreneur and LDS missionary Ricardo Lopez has begun selling residential solar panels to homeowners who aren't interested in talking about God.

Lopez reportedly launched his business model with his missionary companion after feeling that they were wasting too much effort knocking on the doors of people who refused to talk about Jesus.

"We still start with the eternal salvation pitch," explained Ricardo. "But if they're not going for it, there's no sense in wasting the opportunity. We pivot from bringing the light of God into your heart to bringing the light of the sun into your home. They may not get relief from their sins, but they can get incredible tax relief with the solar tax credits currently available."

Neighborhood residents report that the pair's sales transition is effective. When one local homeowner firmly rejected a copy of the Book of Mormon on Tuesday, Lopez's companion, Elder Smith, immediately pulled out an iPad loaded with roof designs and a plan for a 25-year return on investment.

"You may not be interested in saving your soul, but how about saving on your electric bill?" asked Smith.

At publishing time, Lopez and Smith had chalked up a monthly tally of zero converts but four new solar roof contracts.
