U.S. — The Ramsey Show was cut short on Wednesday when host Dave Ramsey became obviously frustrated with a millennial caller who confessed to paying full price for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on seven different occasions.

The caller was looking for guidance about spending outside of a budget for an unexpected purchase. But when the unexpected purchase turned out to be a new version of Ocarina of Time, Ramsey became livid.

Ramsey said video games did not qualify as an emergency unexpected purchase, but was interrupted by the caller, a man named Brian, who pointed out that Ocarina of Time is the greatest game of all time and he'd already bought it seven times.

"You mean you've played it seven times," Ramsey said, attempting to clarify the caller's details.

"No, Dave," came the answer. "I bought it twice on the N64. Technically, my parents bought it for me first, but I bought it again later used when I found the gold cartridge on sale since my parents hadn't preordered it. For collection purposes, you understand. Then, years later, I bought it on the E-Shop on the Wii and then again on the Wii U E-Shop. I also bought it on the 3DS. I bought it again on the 3DS digitally when I forgot I owned the physical cartridge. I also pay for a monthly Nintendo Online subscription that gets me access to it on an emulator."

"And it's coming out again in November," he added.

Without a response from Ramsey, the show suddenly transitioned into an ad and abruptly ended. Sources later confirmed Ramsey was too upset to continue the episode.

At publishing time, Dave Ramsey had totally changed his mind after seeing how cool the graphics looked for the new Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time,
