BLOOMINGTON, MN — Sources close to Jason Ambrose report that the father of six just woke up in a cold sweat from a horrifying nightmare where he only got his family to the airport two hours before their flight was scheduled to depart.
In his spine-chilling dream, Ambrose allegedly first failed by not completely packing all of the suitcases in the minivan the night before the trip, and then saw himself floundering trying to get kids loaded into the car, only to arrive at the terminal a measly two hours before the flight's departure.
"It's my greatest fear," Ambrose admitted, shuddering a little. "I normally arrive at the airport at least six hours in advance of every flight, just to be safe. But in the dream, we were just getting out of the car when I looked at my watch and saw we had only two hours to print off our boarding passes, get through security, make sure everyone went to the restroom one last time, and get little Peter a bottle of water. A note of terror thrilled through my heart. I saw it all falling apart, crumbling, breaking…oh, the horror! Oh, the humanity of it all!"
Jason's wife Ellie said this sort of nightmare is a regular occurrence for her husband.
"Honestly, he's probably just a bit stressed about our upcoming trip to Florida," she commented. "It's three weeks away and he's only half-packed. He's on a hair-trigger right now."
At publishing time, Ambrose had woken up from another nightmare in which he had gotten the family all the way through security with three hours to spare before realizing that they were in Terminal 2 instead of Terminal 1.
