DENVER, CO — Despite the partial government shutdown, one unpaid TSA agent is still showing up to grope people at the airport for the pure love of the game.

The TSA is one of the agencies that has been affected by the funding shortfall that began in mid-February, and TSA workers are now noticing that they're not receiving their paychecks any more. But that hasn't stopped Phil McGrint.

McGrint has been a model agent at the Transportation Security Administration for over ten years, and he is not letting the lapse in regular pay stop him from doing what he loves: groping travelers at the airport.

"I love my job," said McGrint to the gathered press as he pressed his latex-gloved hands in between a traveller's private areas. "I always said I would do this for free, and now I am!"

The partial shutdown has put a significant strain on airports as the TSA is now suffering from absences and staffing shortages, while travelers are now suffering through longer than usual lines and flight delays.

"Man, if only we had an army of Phils," said McGrint's shift supervisor. "He shows up every day, rain or shine, and he is always smiling. I think the travellers notice him too."

At publishing time, McGrint had told his supervisors that he wanted all the overtime hours he could get, even if the government shutdown persists.
