DRAPER, UT — Local mom Becky Jones decided to mix things up in a big way Thursday afternoon and mixed a load of light clothes and dark clothes on a cold wash cycle in her washing machine.
"Woo hoo! Look at me go!" Jones declared as she cavalierly chucked a pile of her son's dark t-shirts in with a set of pink sheets. "It's time Mama let loose a little. Watch out, world! Becky is off the hook!"
Jones reportedly didn't even measure the recommended amount of laundry detergent before slamming the lid shut and giving the washer a little bump with her hip before spinning up the load.
"I don't know what's gotten into her," Becky's husband Joe commented. "I mean, we've been married 12 years and I've never seen her mix the lights and darks. I wonder what's next, putting plastics on the bottom rack of the dishwasher?"
As of publishing time, Becky reportedly was heard singing sassy jazz songs from the laundry room while she brazenly threw unmatched socks into her kids' laundry bins while cackling like a hyena. Joe had decided it might be a good night to order pizza.
