WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump's nominee for HHS Secretary came under instant criticism from members of the Senate Judiciary Committee after RFK Jr. was accused of rudely interrupting important political grandstanding.
RFK Jr. received a stern scolding from multiple senators who took him to task for selfishly attempting to answer questions in the middle of their important theatrical grandstanding session.
"Who do you think you are, sir?" asked a visibly angry Adam Schiff. "Today is not about you, sir. We're gathered here in this room today for the important business of creating soundbites that cater to our voter base. We can't have you interrupting us every time we're trying to promote ourselves and leech as much camera time as we can. How dare you, sir?"
Senate Democrats who had painstakingly scripted out their 6-minute-long accusatory questions quickly grew tired of RFK Jr.'s brazen attempts to provide answers. "You clearly have no understanding of what this hearing is about," said Amy Klobuchar. "If you think trying to answer our questions will help you in any way, you are sorely mistaken. Please refrain from giving any answers or speaking at all while we finish giving our speeches, thank you."
Committee members warned RFK Jr. that any further attempts to respond to their questions could result in his swift rejection from consideration for the position of HHS Secretary.
At publishing time, the hearing was forced to call a recess after Senator Mazie Hirono somehow got her pen stuck up her nose while attempting to ask her question.
